Teen Club for boys & girls grades 7 to 12.
Members are running differant activities
for the youth of the community.
Dances, open court nights and other activities are in the works.
Also the Teen Club is painting and
fixing up the upstairs gameroom.
Some new games and a Jukebox have already been added.

2005 EASTER EGG HUNT & PARTY
HOSTED BY THE MOOSIC YOUTH CENTER TEEN CLUB

The 2nd annual MYC Teen Club hosted an Easter Party
filled with games, prizes, crafts and fun at the Moosic
Youth Center on March 20th.  Over 60 children from
Old Forge, Moosic, Taylor, Avoca and Scranton
participated in the Hula-Hoop contest and a Spoon race,
where they had to balance an egg on a spoon while racing
toward the finish line. Prizes were awarded to the 1st
& 2nd place winners in all 3 age's categories.

Craft stations for decorating hard-boiled eggs and making
picture frames were set up around the Center.
Face painting was a big hit too!

Egg hunts were divided into 3 age groups where the
children ran for a plastic egg and opened it to see if
their egg contained the special note that won them yet
another prize. Fifteen boys and girls walked away
with prizes supplied by the Teen Club.
A basket raffle was also available
for additional prize awards.

The Easter Bunny posed for pictures with the little ones,
and passed out candy bags to all the children, which
added to the fun of the day!
Everyone was provided with a drink and cookies,
cupcakes or brownies all baked
by the Teen Club and Parents Club members who helped to
make this year's event another success!

The Teen Club sponsored a
"Tropical New Year's Dance"
held on January 15th
Music was by "Party DJz" with dance floor give-aways!
Pizza and frozen drinks were sold
and snacks were supplied.
The first 50 teens in the doors received a Hawaiian Lei.

A Halloween Dance was held for grades 7 to 12 on October 23, 2004
Music by TNT DJ Services
Snacks and drinks were served.
It was a fun evening!

for ages 0 to 9 years old, on April 3, 2004.
It was a huge success!

Teen Club Open Court
on select Saturday nights from 7 to 10pm
for boys & girls grades 7 to 12,
Includes use of the basketball court and game room.

The game room has pool tables, ping-pong and air hockey.
A new video game, pinball machine,
skoosh ball and Jukebox.
